Call Center Sales Representative

We’re PC/NAMETAG, a Verona WI -based business to business direct marketer that sells meeting registration products (name badges, lanyards and tote bags) to meeting planners in businesses, associations and universities around the world. Many of the products we sell are custom imprinted with the event and organization name.

We sell our products via a website: www.pcnametag.com and we have a call center of sales professionals who consultatively work to make sure that customers have all the registration products they need.

We’re looking to expand our sales staff by hiring a motivated, professional and experienced Call Center Sales Rep who has at least one year of experience selling products or services over the phone.

At PC/NAMETAG you will not just mindlessly “push” product, rather you will become a meeting supply expert, developing long term relationships with customers by finding them the right products for their meetings and conventions. You will be given a good base of customers on the first day you start work. You will also take inbound calls each day that will build your base.

You are the person we’re looking for:

• If you have at least one year experience working in a call center selling products or services
• If you are not afraid to ask for the order
• If you want to build your customer base by calling customers who have previously placed orders
• If you have strong written and oral skills
• If you’re organized, can multi-task and type at least 50 words per minute
•If you have a bachelor’s degree, preferred and you'd like to make $42,000 to $51,000 the first year

This is a typical day for a Call Center Sales Rep at PC/NAMETAG:

• You have a phone shift. Five hours each day are dedicated to taking the calls from incoming customers. You will need to provide information and solution ideas. Use our website to talk customers through new products
• You will take orders over the phone. Custom imprinted orders require that you review and develop art. You will need to proof to the customer the art once it is placed on the item
• You will need to follow up on correspondence with customers and on order details with our purchasing, accounting and shipping departments
• You will have a time each day to follow up with customers who purchased last year. You will need to update the database, send them samples and take orders
• Meet with your manager to review recent calls and progress. You will be regularly coached to become a proactive, meeting supply expert who is always learning

• Base salary + commission, expect from $42,000 to $51,000 in total compensation your first year. Can earn $60,000+.
