We’re pc/nametag®, a direct marketer of meeting and convention supplies. We sell everything from badges to tote bags to organizational supplies through a catalog and an online store. We’re looking for a Recruiter & HR Specialist to help us keep our company fully staffed with smart, energetic and capable people.
This position requires a very professional, outgoing can-do attitude, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The Recruiter & HR Specialist will work directly for the President and will be the “first face” of our company recruiting and screening job applicants.
You are the right person for this job if you are a creative problem solver with professional experience recruiting, screening and hiring staff. You must be able to work independently on projects and see them through to completion.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- • Write and edit job descriptions. Oversee copy writer to write job ads.
- • Recruit applicants for open positions. Use web sites, personal contact and employment agencies to recruit the best possible applicants for open positions. Be resident expert on all benefits issues
- • Screen all applicants. Select finalists to be presented to hiring committee. Be a member of the hiring committee.
- • Maintain a recruitment file for each position, including all applicant files, job postings, interview notes, etc.
- • Respond to inquiries from prospective and current employees.
- • Schedule all interviews, follow up and information sessions.
- • Coordinate, specify and score pre-employment testing and background checks.
- • Monitor daily the jobs@pcnametag.com mailbox. Maintain basic metrics regarding the sources of resumes received.
- • Coordinate invoicing for all recruitment advertising.
- • Prepare new employee packets, and communicate new employee information to supervisors.
- • Coordinate acknowledgement and follow-up process for all applicants.
- • Maintain inventory of applications, benefit summaries, employee handbooks, and other employment materials.
