That’s what your job as an Inbound Account Representative at pc/nametag will be like.
Based in Verona, Wisconsin, pc/nametag is a business-to-business, direct marketer that sells meeting registration products (name badges, lanyards, tote bags and much more) to meeting planners in businesses, associations and universities around the world. The company is one of largest meeting suppliers in the world. We sell our products via a website (www.pcnametag.com) and a catalog, and we have a call center of sales professionals. We want to expand our sales staff by hiring a motivated, professional and experienced Inbound Account Representative who has at least one year of experience selling products or customer services over the phone.
At PC/NAMETAG you will not be expected to “push” products; rather, you will be trained to become a meeting-supply expert and recommending the right products for meetings and conventions. You will also meet with your manager to review recent calls and progress, and be regularly coached to become a proactive, meeting-supply expert who is always learning.
The main duties for this position are:
• Answer incoming calls during the assigned phone shift, process orders and meet up-selling and cross-selling goals.
• Handle incoming requests from customers by email or fax and respond to their inquiries.
• Provide customers with product and service information.
• Research and resolve customer and billing issues in a timely manner.
We are looking for the following skills:
• Eliciting information about customers’ events and leveraging past orders to sell additional products and suggest new product offerings.
• Ability to prioritize and change direction quickly, including phone-shift time in heavy queue periods.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to execute more than one task at the same time and establish priorities among those tasks.
• Good verbal and written communications, including fast and correct typing (at least 50 words per minute) and professional email correspondence.
