Imagine becoming so well-versed in an industry leader’s products that you can suggest ways to make your contacts’ jobs easier. Of course they’ll want to talk to you!

That’s what your job as an Outbound Account Representative at pc/nametag will be like.

Based in Verona, Wisconsin, pc/nametag is a business-to-business, direct marketer that sells meeting registration products (name badges, lanyards, tote bags and much more) to meeting planners in businesses, associations and universities around the world. The company is one of largest meeting suppliers in the world.

We sell our products via a website (www.pcnametag.com) and a catalog, and we have a call center of sales professionals. We want to expand our sales staff by hiring a motivated, professional and experienced Outbound Account Representative who has at least one year of experience selling products or customer services over the phone.

At PC/NAMETAG you will not be expected to “push” products; rather, you will be trained to become a meeting- supply expert and recommend the right products for meetings and conventions.

The main duties for this position are to make 80 – 120 outbound calls per day to customers to:

• Follow up on web orders.
• Welcome new customers to establish a relationship and learn about customers’ needs and activities.
• Contact lapsed customers to verify contact names and information, determine dates of events, and provide incentive to place orders.
• Prospect by phone to add additional customers.
• Make outbound phone calls to leads regarding sample requests, tradeshow leads, catalog requests and product sample requests.

We are looking for professionals with the following qualities and skills:

• A positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working with customers.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers quickly and to explain the features and benefits of our products and services.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, such as multi-tasking in a fast-paced, busy environment.
• Good verbal and written communication, including fast and correct typing, professional e-mail correspondence and effective phone conversations.
• Strong planning ability, including keeping clear and accurate information for future customer/prospect interaction.
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
