Datamax On Site Printer 4.4 5 11 11
Wow This printer works great! It's fast, hooks up fast, integrates with other software and makes us look professional at events with walk-ins that have printed nametags and don't look out of place with something hand written. Our founding partner showed up to an event last week unexpected and we had a nametag printed for him by the time he got to the registration table, he never knew we hadn't pre-printed one.We bought the travel case too, great investment - it holds the chords and blank nametags. Easy to carry everything securely. May 15, 2012

Easy setup With the included instructions, this printer was very easy to set up and have running in just a couple of minutes. The badge print quality was great and we look forward to having our meeting registration process run efficiently from now on. February 28, 2012
Not A Useful Solution We purchased this printer in order to print 3"x4" name badges on site at conferences (for those late registrants).First, the inserts we purchased to go along with it are not in the "roll" setup that we would have liked. Instead, it is a stacked set that feeds in. The way this printer works, it wastes one after every tear. (You tear a name tag, then in order for it to print again, it needs to feed a blank one out first).Second, it takes a massive amount of configuration to print the way we need (horizontal). We wasted over 20 name tags just trying to get it the way we needed it (with a very technical person running the show). Overall, the feeding system is "fragile" in the sense that it can easily feed in your tags crooked (and subsequently print on them crooked).Third, we were not expecting high graphic quality, but it can't even text with a common consistency. There are streaks and different shades of black. Ridiculous. February 9, 2012
The concept of this product is great Initially I had problems with the print quality on the badges. Some badges would print out good, but most were faded in one particular area. I tried the fix that was sent to me after I informed customer service of the problem. This fix did not work. You customer service department was very quick to send me out a new printer. The return was also easy. I do like the concept of this printer and hope to see them develop it further with the capability of color. It is a little bulky, but not heavy. I purchased the shipping case which makes it easy to ship to location. January 31, 2012
The Datamax made me a HERO! It took 6 months to sell my boss on the ideal of printing name tags on site. After the first 100+ people flew through the check in process, he has sold.Having printed name tags looked so much better than hand written. Everyone had great looking name tags, even the for the poeple who didn't pre-registure.We are looking to get one or two more. January 30, 2012
This product is lightweight, compact and easy to use. I watched the promotional video and became interested in the product. I contacted pcnametag and spoke with a salesperson. The salesperson was very helpful and willing to answer all of my questions. I decided to try the Datamax On Site Printer and ordered one. The delivery time was quick and the software set-up was easy. The printer is lightweight, portable and easy to take to meetings off-site. I am looking forward to using it at our upcoming meetings for quick service on the spot. January 18, 2012
Worthwhile investment I hated handing out handwritten name tags to latecomers, but didn't want to lug a full-size printer to our small (25-50 ppl) events. So when we decided to host a larger event (125 ppl) I opted to buy this onsite printer. So easy to use, name tags came out great. Had I known, I would have spent the money long ago even if it was only for 1 to 3 tags. It's totally easy to set up and use and makes you look much more professional. I did increase the temperature of the printer to make the print darker. I also didn't realize that I need to order the paper separately. October 31, 2011
