About Us
We’re pc/nametag, a direct seller of meeting & registration supplies located in Verona, WI.  We sell nametag holders, lanyards, ribbon and tote bags to meeting planners.  Behind every product we sell, there is years of research, product development, creativity, hard work, trial, error and well…a lot of fun.  Some of the products that we sell we develop internally, some components we purchase and repackage and other products we simply distribute.  We are a growing company and rely on department leaders to make this happen.  Here the customer comes first.  All day long we work to exceed the expectations of the customer.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Vendor Relations Manager who can:

  • Talk to vendors, colleagues and customers when problems arise.  Hear what the issue includes, think  through the issue and implement a solution
  • Effectively manage the drop ship process  and who understands how blank goods are decorated with imprints, embroidery and debossing
  • Develop a strategic plan for vendor relations.  Develop, track and manage to Key Vendor Performance Indicators for our 150 current vendors
  • Be an expert at vendor shipping, billing and return practices and hold vendors accountable to agreed service levels
  • Manage our four person team of vendor relations specialists
  • Identify and qualify new vendors to manufacture internally developed product.  Off shore manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Learn and understand what a meeting planner wants in registration supplies
  • Work with merchandising, marketing and sales to maximize sales
  • Work constantly to improve and streamline the flow of orders through our system

Job Requirements include:

  • College Degree with 5-7 years of vendor relations and management experience.  Must have experience developing new products
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, experience with databases and have strong Excel skills.  A good understanding of the accounting process is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with Trademark and Patent research a plus
  • Familiarity  with the Advertising Specialty Industry, screen printing or packaging industries would be very helpful
