The 4" x 1-5/8" ribbon is our most popular size for conferences, meetings, trade shows, and seminars. It pairs perfectly with name badges that are 4" wide or wider. The 3-1/2" x 1-5/8" ribbon is often the go-to for fan conventions and fits name tags that are 4" wide or smaller.
What's the difference between custom, in-stock, and packs?
In-stock ribbons are ready-made ribbons with popular, pre-printed phrases or titles that ship fast. Custom ribbons are designed from scratch with your own text, colors, and artwork using our design canvas or by uploading vector art. Ribbon packs are curated bundles of in-stock ribbons that are ready for use at events.
How do badge ribbons attach to name badges?
Badge ribbons have a double-sided adhesive strip along the top edge that sticks directly to the bottom of any name badge or other ribbons. Just peel, press, and stack.
Are badge ribbons eco-friendly?
Yes. pc/nametag's badge ribbons are made from acetate satin, which comes from wood pulp rather than plastic. Most ribbons completely biodegrade when placed in a commercial composting facility.
Do badge ribbons have hidden fees?
Not at pc/nametag. The price you see includes everything. We don't add setup fees, design fees, or surprise charges at checkout.
What's the smallest badge ribbon size?
Our smallest ribbon is 3” x 1-5/8", which works for compact badges or when you want a small accent rather than a full-width ribbon below the badge.
What size ribbon works with 3" x 5" badges?
The 3" x 1-5/8" ribbon works beautifully with badges 4" wide or smaller. It sits across the full width of the badge without overhanging the edges.
What size ribbon works with 4" x 3" badges?
Both the 3-1/2" x 1-5/8" and the 4" x 1-5/8" ribbon work great with 4" x 3" badges. The 4" ribbon sits flush across the full width of the badge.
What size ribbon works with 4-1/4" x 6" badges?
The 4" x 1-5/8" ribbon is perfect for larger badges. It provides full coverage across the bottom.
Are there vertical badge ribbons?
Yes. You can create your badge ribbon so that the design runs along the side of badges rather than hanging below them.
Are badge ribbons single-event or reusable?
No. The adhesive is designed for single use. Once you stick a ribbon to a badge and then remove it, the adhesive backing may not re-stick reliably.
