Planners using badge holders hit the same wall when the badges come off. The paper inserts are done, but the holders are still perfectly good plastic, and the usual choices are the trash or a shelf. tag/back gives them a second life as plastic that gets used again.
Return shipping is already paid
The price of the tag/back box covers the pre-paid return label and the recycling process. There is no separate recycling fee and nothing else to add to your cart.
Any pc/nametag holder qualifies
If the badge holders came from pc/nametag, it can come back to pc/nametag. Buying a collection box automatically enrolls you in the program.
Your holders become usable plastic again
Holders are processed into post-consumer recycled plastic that gets manufactured into something new instead of sitting in a landfill.
How the Badge Holder Recycling Program Works
Most of what pc/nametag does happens before your event. tag/back is the part that happens after. You collect the holders and ship the box, and pc/nametag handles the rest.
Step 1. Collect the holders as attendees leave.
Set out a collection point near the exit or at the registration desk and leave it there for the whole event. Attendees may leave on different days, so the ones heading out early can drop their holders on their way out. Remove the paper inserts and unclip the lanyards before packing, because tag/back accepts empty holders only.
Step 2. Ship the box back to pc/nametag.
Pack the empty holders into your tag/back return shipping box, apply the prepaid return label that came inside of it, and hand the box to your carrier.
Step 3. pc/nametag handles the recycling.
Your box arrives at pc/nametag's headquarters in Verona, Wisconsin, and the holders go on to be processed into post-consumer recycled plastic.

Buying a small or large tag/back return shipping box is how you join the program, and the prepaid return label plus the recycling are both included in the box price. The small box holds up to 300 holders with attachments or 850 slot only holders. The large box holds up to 750 holders with attachments or 2,125 slot only holders. Both are made from recycled corrugate, and both work as collection bins during the event.

Attendees recycle more often when they see exactly where to do it. These foldable collection boxes come in a 15 inch tabletop version and a 39-3/8 inch floor standing version, and you can print your event logo in an 11-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch imprint area. Set one in a high traffic spot, then transfer the holders into your return shipping box when the event wraps.
