Digital Print Operator, Part-Time

Salary starting at $20/hr - Day shift!
12pm to 5pm shift, Monday – Friday
Additional hours available during peak months

pc/nametag® is looking for a part-time Digital Print Operator that has a passion for printing along with providing high quality work. We are searching for a strong print operator that can set up and print custom orders while maintaining our high-quality standards and has a customer-centric mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary digital printing responsibilities include setting up and printing orders with willingness to flex into different production and/or finishing areas as needed
Work closely with Pre-Press and Graphic Art department to ensure order set-up meet production standards
Ensure all orders meet color and quality expectations
Prioritize production work orders to maximize efficiency while meeting all ship date requirements
Perform general maintenance on printing equipment including daily, weekly and monthly maintenance, along with cleaning of ink tanks

Requirements:

Experience with digital printers (HP Indigo or comparable toner production printers) and paper cutters; experience in a short run environment using sheet-fed equipment
Experience with performing general maintenance on machines
Color matching skills
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with the ability to adjust focus.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
Frequently required to lift up to 40 pounds
Able to work 12pm to 5pm, Monday thru Friday
Opportunity to work additional hours during our peak months
